| Fun in the sun we had for a whole week in sunny California. The end of September/early October, we took the boys on a surprise get-a-way to Disneyland and enjoyed getting to treat them! After a long busy summer it was nice to chill, sleep in, ride rides, hot tub and enjoy one another without doctor's offices, work and now school! The boys loved it all and even Shephard did excellent. He loved it all except the characters, after Goofy's whiskers (check out the pic) he was scarred the rest of the trip. We have been back a little over a week and are pretty pooped and glad to be home. Jameson had a lung profusion scan last Thursday and we are still waiting to hear back. Please pray for equal pressure between his right and left lungs, indicating a healthy, strong and growing right side. He had to have an IV which didn't go over very well but he felt a little better when he found out both Isaiah and Shephard had their 4yr and 15 mos. shots the next day. Daddy topped it off with a slurpy on the way home. I will attatch some pictures of the trip, the boys are all getting so big and sometimes it is just overwhelming looking at them and how they have grown. God is awesome, even in exhaustion right now, I can say He is awesome. I have been challenged this week to really examine how I glorify Him with my life, how I serve and love Jason, how I parent and love the boys and running our house. I have seen more and more lately God's grace in my life, His faithfulness, I know I will never earn His gift, but I want to honor Him. Thank y'all for your continued prayer for Jameson and our family. Thank you for your love and friendship. Those of you far away, we think of you often and are praying for you. Those of you close to home, we are thankful for your presence and how God has used you all of you to bless us. Thank you! Oh and we are finanlly in house, whew-hoo!:)

Hey gang~
Well we are back from Texas and my sister's wedding was beautiful and above are some pics of us all decked out. The trip was fun a little crazy at times but the boys enjoyed their time thoroughly. We did Sea World, a little hiking trip and a lot of swimming at our cousin's house. I have two cousins that are closer to Jameson and Isaiah's age, Kaley and Natalie. Below is a pic of all of us in the pool.

We got back on Wednesday and had a doctor's appointment on Thursday. It was a huge praise and encouraging. Jameson is completely dried up. There is not fluid lying around in his stomach or lung cavity. Now time will tell us if it is his right ventricle that is finally beginning to relax and stretch or if it his diarhetics doing the job. They have reduced these now and we will return in one month. If the fluid is still absent we should be out of the woods and they will start slowly reducing all his meds. Yeah!!! Thank you for your prayers and for those of you in Texas it was so good to see you! Y'all have a wonderful week and we love y'all!

| We had our last cardiologist visit for a month on Friday. This will be our longest stretch yet. Jameson overall is doing well, he has put a few extra pounds around his belly and cheeks and is successfully off the steroids. His echo yesterday showed no paracardiam affusion (fluid around the heart). This past week were given permission to stop one of his diarhetics but this unfortunately was not as successful. His liver has become enlarged or "distended" again and their is also some fluid behind his stomach. We have an x-ray on Tuesday to make sure his lung cavities are still clear. This all means that his right ventricle is still not relaxed enough yet, allowing itself to stretch and grow. If things are still looking this way in September and October a heart catheter will most likely take place and stints put in. From there we will have to watch and wait. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors and that Jameson's ventricles, vessels and arteries would stretch and grow.
For now though, we have been given permission to leave for a while and so off we go to Texas!!! My sister is flying in early Wednesday the 12th, and we turn around leave that afternoon. Praise that my parents offered to send B'linda to help me when we purchased the tickets, because last weekend I bruised my rotator cuff and am now in a sling. Please pray for wisdom on how to treat it and a fast recovery. It is very painful and inconvient as a mom (and I am typing this whole thing with one hand:)! Jason will get to join us at the end of July and we will all return on August 9th. Y'all have a wonderful summer and thank you for all of your encouraging prayers. | | |
| Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, the tubes are outta here! Last Thursday they started Jameson on some steroids to help with some inflammation as fluid was surrounding his heart. Gradually over the weekend we began to see less and less draining from his tubes to nearly nothing by Monday morning. After our check-in Monday morning, they scheduled a small IV sedation and he had his tubes removed this morning at 11 am. He was very pleased and has been eating, literally, like a horse, since Monday. Thank you for your continued prayer and walking with us through this time. We will have a check-up and x-ray tomorrow in Tacoma and will move on from there. We are praying to soon recieve the "good to go" to fly down to Texas to see family and my sister get married. We are very excited and thankful to be through this, I know that as we continue to reflect on this time the Lord is going to continue to reveal Himself and His will. Thank you for your love and encouragement. | | |
| Hello deared loved ones, I apologize it has been so long but I must say, we are home! Late Saturday afternoon a doctor finally poked his head in our door and gave us a wonderful compliment. He told us that there are not many we send home with those tubes in, but y'all have made our job easy and are competent parents. Being that right now all we are waiting on is for those tubes to dry up, well, you can do that at home. So three hours later and eight different meds for now, we made it home. Saturday night was a long night but Sunday morning as everyone woke seemed as though the boys were picking up where they left off. When I was in the shower Jason walked away for a minute and when he came back the big boys were gone and were found out at the little pond looking for frogs. In the middle of all this we sold our house and are currently homeless. We are living with Jason's parents and our house will not be ready until September 1st. Our prayer requests are for peace, I personally would love to be in our home and the boys have continued to ask as well. We are ready for rest and time with our three boys. Please also pray for Jameson to continue to adapt to taking all of these meds, I think he believed they were left with the hospital. Also pray for his appetite to grow and eat heartily. His electrolytes were still a little out of whack Saturday morning. This is a big deal for him because it can cause arithmea. Thirdly, please pray for continued healing for his body as a whole and the strengthening and growth of his right ventricle. This is our only hope of his tubes drying up without another surgery. Right now they are putting out 150cc a day, each, more than he should be. Also pray for safety as Jameson wants to be able to do everything but will still be limited by these tubes. Thank you for your encouragement and prayers, we know God has been through this with us every second and all he has to do is blink towards Jamseon to dry up those tubes, but we have another lesson to learn and we need patience to do it.:) We love y'all and hopefully will start being able to see some of ya. I know my updates have slowed down and I have a goal of once a week for now, those of you here in Washington with us, I update this about twice a month for friends and family out of state. I believe there is a way to unsubscribe if you would like. Love you all! ~Stephanie | | |
